After a long time, I wanted to see a few .avi files over my pana recorder. I burned a DVD disc using Nero 11 (DVD-ROM UDF).

However, after inserting a disc, I get a message that the disc is incompatible.

Several discs that I burned before I tried now and they work without problems.

So, what makes the difference between them?

Thanks in advance!

You haven't really given us enough informatiuon to even make a guess. Could you be a lot more specific?

I do not know exactly what you mean regarding the lack of information, but I'll try ...

So, xvid (or divx, .avi) movies are concerned. Burn them to a DVD-R disc, insert in the pana recorder and watch. Еach video file is in a separate folder. Even though pana can not read some file because of not supported codec, users in the menu see all the folders. Whether the file is played, does not affect to view folder.

But, in the current case, recorder immediately after insertion stating that the disc is incompatible.

Earlier I used something like that more often, lately not so much. As I recall, did not need any special procedures regarding burning, except that the disc must be finalized. So I did it this time. As I said, I used Nero 11 and selected DVD-ROM UDF option.

I tried previously recorded discs which i still own and they work without problems.
