You might try ImgBurn or Nero to finalize. Otherwise you could possibly recover the data using ISOPuzzle or ISOBuster.

(complains about win32 toolbar conduit aplication....)

My toshiba RD-XS24 is quite old

Possibly an optional software that comes with it? Here's close a disc in ImgBurn:

Regarding Nero - instead of using “Burning Rom” try using “Nero Recode”. That works for me with my unfinalized Sony RDR-HX780 recorded discs.

With my situation Nero Recode does not recode the files but Nero would copy the disc bit-for-bit and ask me to insert a new disc and Nero would burn and finalize the program on the new disc. The problem with this option is that you will have to replace each disc with a new disc.

See this thread.

See this thread for others that used Nero successfully.

Another possibility is to try the “finalize option” with Nero Vision as seen in my included image. This option would not work with my Sony RDR-HX780 unfinalized discs but its worth a try with your Toshiba discs.

1st you need to check if there's something to "fix" with IsoBuster.
