Just wanted to know if it would be alright to move my 2160a to a hanging vcr cradle under a wall tv mount. I'm about ready to move my newest recorder to the living room and gift the Philips dvd recorder with dtv tuner to my step daughter. Will any slight movement from the hdd cause it to malfunction, as in a hanging mount?

Should be OK. I have to assume you're not talking about "drop-test" level movement!? biggrin.gif

No, no huge movements. I'll just have to avoid swinging the set for viewing angle while the recorder is on.

Swinging sideways should not be a problem, just use a little care with slower moves and no "big" vertical bumps since it's *always* recording.
