I ran one of the progs i found here and the manufacturers id is MXLRG01

Can anyone confirm whether by this code if these are indeed genuine maxell brand disks or a counterfeit? thanks..t

If they are branded they should be legit. To my knowledge, Maxell doesn't sell bulk/spindled media.

The code isn't a good indicator since the fake Maxells also had that code. Where did you buy them?

The code is right and the media color is right so chances are that they're legit. Mine have a horizontal label that says "maxell" on the upper left and DR47 on the bottom right.
