, I have very dim
(almost unreadable) displays on both units!
I know three others that have the exact same problem
. Is this common for this (and/or other) Panny units? If it is, I personally believe that there should be some class action on the part of the thousands of users! The dimming occured after only several months and has gotten progressively worse over time. It makes it very difficult to monitor the display and is very annoying!
Any thoughts or comments?
I have not noticed any dimming on my ES10 display, But I am one of these people that when ever I am not using my TV,DVD or any electronic stuff I always unplug it, Just a habit. I have always been like that. the display on mine is still very bright
For the most part I have not had any over heating issues with my ES10, Like you when I got mine I was worried about it not having a fan. I remember 1 time I was making a big set of recorded shows and it took several days to complete and my ES10 did get real hot, I just decided to cut it off until it cooled down.
I don't think these problems are just with the ES10, I bought my sister a ES15 last Christmas and I said here we go ES10 vs ES15!
I put that ES15 through its paces! At first I thought there an't no way that it will beat my ES10, I was very surprised. It kept up right with my ES10 But as far as quality built the ES10 is #1, I don't think you will find a ES15 still working after 2 years, might be wrong, Also the display on the ES15 right out of the box is dim, not as bright as the ES10 and in the few days I had the ES15 it to got real hot, Onething that always got me its got a cut out for a fan on the back but no FAN
As far as the dimming issue I don't no what you could do to help that? Maybe resetting it and then unpluging it for a while plug it back up see if that helps
