pioneer hts-gs1 at walmart for $130 plus tax

they stopped making them i think, so if i were you id get one asap

I got the Z-5500 for $170 after rebate and it racks the house!! The sub is huge especially for the price I paid.

The z5500's will indeed blow the GS1s away, but the bass is overly boomy and are better suited sitting on a PC desk. The GS1's, while not the best setup ever created will work in any medium sized room.

At the prices the Z-5500 can be found at, I would be surprised if anything in the same range came close to its sound quality. Only drawback is that it's criminally lacking on inputs.
