Hey guys a got mainly one question i use this system for gaming only i have an xbox360 via HDMI, so the problem im having is that i have the htib set to [PLII MV] and my xbox set to Dolby Digital 5.1 but when i play my games its processes it in a 2.0 or that is what it says on the HTIB screen. So is there away i can get a 5.1 with my xbox?

And as of right now my 70 dollar altec lansing sounds better any opinions

oh and i don't have auto calibration mic i tried to configure it to the best i can but it didn't make much of a difference, and i have read that 12 page thread about the system i didn't know if i should of posted it there cause it was and old thread sorry for the newbness

Hi fudd664, try setting the sound field to "A.F.D STD" as this setting is supposed to present the sound as it was recorded/encoded without adding any surround effect.
