Saw this recently for apprx $500 from a retailer, with the Klipsch being $300 alone and the 7.1 being $400 it seems like a great deal.

I have a decent sized room, 10ftx16ft, that opens up into the kitchen and dinning room, making it seem and feel bigger than it really is. I like quality sound, big noises are second on my list to sound accuracy.

How will this receiver/speaker combo meet my needs? Are there better options available?

The Klipsch hd300's are not worth spending $300 on or even with that heavy discount.

The Klipsch hd300 struggled in a 15x15 sound room I tested them.

Better choice would be a Denon AVR-591 or 1611 and Polk RM6750, Larger subwoofer, bigger drivers in the satelites

Found the 6750 for around $250, sound about right? I'm gonna stop by the local store and see what help they can offer, thanks for the suggestions I'll keep them in mind while making my decision.

how's this deal compare to onkyo S6300, or Pioneer VSX-920-K + Polk RM6750? I have $550 gift card for Newegg, so I can't get Denon. I'm open for other suggestion too. My room size is 12x21.

Onkyo S6300 has a decent receiver on the same level as the Pioneer but the Polk speakers are better than the Onkyo speakers
Another option in that budget is the Denon DHT-591ba if you feel you need 3d capable receiver. If not the Denon DHT-590ba (last years model) can be had for cheaper

Found the Polk Audio RM705 but I guess the RM6750 are much better and have greater potency.

What others speaker with woofer set are recommended?.

I can see its no so wrong to go the route receiver plus speaker set.
