Hello

I recently bought this HTiB about 2 days ago and loving every single moment and not looking back. This system show exactly how surround sounds make a difference. I was playing Black Ops and each shot from various weapons have their own sound and echo, man, try out the LG sniper rifle, that echo really sounds how powerfull and awesome that gun really is. Well, enought about that, I came in here because the receiver can produce Pro Logic IIz, but there seems no way on how to enable it, I have tried different things but its still ghosted, I have the 7.1 speakers already hooked up and working fine, but with PLIIz you can turn it into 9.1, I had already dont this with my previous system, but i cant seem to "enable" this receiver to pick it up or change it to, the word is ghosted and you cant "click" or "enable" it. Anyone know how to enable it?

Thanks!!

Hi The_Sn1p3r, the S8400 is a 7.1 channel receiver and not 9.1. You can only do up to 7 channels (7.1) at any one time. You get the standard 5.1 channels which is Front Left & Right, Center, Surround Left & Right, Subwoofer and with an option of either Surround Rears or Front High. You can not have 7.1 plus Front High (9.1) playing all at the same time (see page 12 in OM).

You can't make it do more than what it's designed for. RTFM.

Do you have Zone 2 enabled? If so set Zone 2 to "No" and this should allow the option to select "Front High".
