Want to add sound to a living room/TV/Family room. The speakers need to be relatively small, probably able to mount them on the wall. I do not need a sub (already have a good one), but don't mind if it is included as long as it's worth it. All in one system with blueray would be nice, but not needed.. So either HTIB or speakers + amp. Need to keep the price around $500 total.

If it matters, the room is a great-room, kitchen+living room area that is total 32'x16' The Family Room area is about 15 deep by 16 wide (tv is on the 16' wall). Kitchen area would be behind the couch.

Thanks.

Bose...

Sigh lol
Try looking up some of the denon or onkyo htibs. They wont let you down for the price

No subwoofer I've heard has been able to produce the bass I've experienced in the Corps!

Must..stop...buying...every bluray release...

I'd look at Energy Take Classic 5.0 - $300

http://www.amazon.com/Energy-Take-Cl...139651&sr=8-1z

onkyo 509 used BUT from amazon - $211 or a new one for $9 more!

http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listi...condition=used

These are better BUT bigger speakers

Jamo 506 - $300
