I am a Newbie to this forum and i did a search but could not find any similar problem that i faced now.

I just purchased the Pioneer home entertainment system HTZ-616BD and Pioneer DVD player with HDMI and Karaoke DV-3022KV. I connect using HDMI between the DVD player and the HTZ-616BD (HDMI IN1).

DVD Player DV-3022KV <--HDMI--> HTZ-616BD <--HDMI--> LCD TV

When i played VCD karaoke discs on the DV-3022KV, karaoke sing-a-long using the mic connected to DV-3022KV has no problem and Vocal singing and music from VCD can be heard from the speakers of HTZ-616BD.

However, when another karaoke DVD disc was played on the DV-3022KV, no vocal audio coming from the mic can be heard from the speakers of HTZ-616BD. Only the audio from the DVD disc can be heard. I am using geniune DVD karaoke disc with different audio selection, eg.
Audio 1 : Stereo karaoke
Audio 2 : Stereo Vocal
Audio 3 : Dolby digital 6.1 EX Vocal
Audio 4 : DTS 6.1 ES Vocal

I have tried all audio selection with the same result. I also have tried multiple DVD disc and the same issue occurred.

Anyone has a similar problem and any suggestion as to what is the problem ? Thanks in advance!
