Hi all,

I have been using the same sound system (my first) for the past 10 years and it served me well.
It was a Videologic DigiTheatre DTS (I think that company doesn't even exist anymore).

Here is the thing: I am moving from the US to Europe in a few months and I definitely don't want to haul this thing with me!

The rest of my setup (which I intend to keep) consists of:

Dune HD Base 3.0 media player
Epson Powerlite Home Cinema 720 projector
Synology NAS

This was used in a room that was roughly 15ft x16ft and worked great.

1. Since it's much cheaper to buy electronics in the US, should I buy a new system here
WITHOUT YET KNOWING THE SIZE OR SHAPE OF THE ROOM, or is that a really bad idea?

2. I am looking for a similar experience as I had - any recommendations for a good, updated system?
Budget is approximately $500-600 but will adjust if there are good reasons to do so.

Basically, I'm a bit overwhelmed!

I am not contemplating putting together a "full" system (separate receiver and speakers) both because of budget limitations and because I don't have the space to move anything that large.
