Hello everyone. I've never posted here before, so here goes nothin.

I moved recently and while moving dropped the receiver from my HT in a box, Samsung HT-Z510. Broke it pretty badly. All of the speakers and other peripheral components are fine.

Is there any way of replacing just the receiver unit? I'm guessing, since 3 of the speakers and the subwoofer are just standard speaker wire, I could replace it with any receiver that has similar connectors in the back, but wanted to check here. The other issue comes from the rear speakers. They are wireless, and connect to a wireless transmitter, fairly unique connector. I'm guessing I would have to find the exact same model (which is discontinued) or an updated one from the same manufacturer to support that wireless component, but I have no idea and I'm guessing.

And as everyone can probably guess, Samsung support was completely and utterly useless. Even after providing the model number and complete description of the item and the issue, they still asked me repeatedly additional details ABOUT MY TV! I eventually gave up on them.

Any help you could provide would be welcome, thank you all in advance!

Samsung does have a regular receiver that has support for those wireless rear speakers but it is $600. Probably cheaper to just get a Denon or Onkyo 5.1 receiver and pick up a pair of speakers to either use as new front speakers or as new rear speakers. You don't even need those cheap clip-type speaker connectors. Most receivers have 5-way binding posts which will accept the bare wire ends. If the speakers have any plastic connectors on the end just snip them off and use the bare wire.

Denon AVR X7200WA, Emotiva XPR-5, Emotiva XPA-7, Sony XBR 75" 850C, Oppo BDP-103D, Roku 4.
DefTech BP7000SC (L/R), CLR3000 (C), SM55 (FH), UIW BPZ/A (SB), UIW 75 (TM).
JBL L7 (Sur), EoSone RSR 350 (RH).

PC 2.1 setup. Emotiva Stealth 6, SVS SB2000 sub, Emotiva DC-1 DAC.
