Hey guys,
I´m pretty new in Amerika and don´t know about the brands here. In Germany I know what I can buy, but here I don´t know what are good conditions and where can I buy a good system.

I´m looking for a Sourroundsystem for watching movies in HD and 3D as well. I know that this Home Theater system In A Box are not the best ones, but I need it only for the next 2 years and I dont think that I spend to much money now. When it´s cheaper than 1000$ thats will be great for me.
Do you think one of this systems are ok for a living room with 15*18feet

http://www.accessories4less.com/make-a-store/item/DENDHT1513BA/DENON-DHT-1513BA-Home-Theater-System-w/Boston-Acoustics-Speakers/1.html

When the Denon one isn´t really a deal worse, then I think I will preffer this one because of the price.

What do you think? Or do you have better systems for this conditions?

Thanks a lot for your help and please don´t care about my worse english. And don´t hesitate to ask me questions, if you need more informations.

Greetings
Timo

I think that the Denon will be all that you need for your short stay here in America.

Save some money and go with the Denon. You will need some stands for the fronts and something to attach them to the wall for the rears.

Go to monoprice.com for your wires and connections. they are the cheapest place in the USA.

Also you will need a blu ray player. I can't help on that.

Where in the USA will you be if you don't mind my asking

Thanks a lot for your help. I will use my Play Station 3 Slim to play the blu-rays. I agree, it´s better to buy a cheap one. Do you know, what things I need for wireless rear speakers? I heard by mouth that a good american store is "Best buy" and I should go there to take a look for that stuff. Do you think it´s good to go there or it´s will be better to order the Denon without looking there? Sorry for the questions, but the first time here it´s not so easy :-)
Of course, feel free to ask me. I live in New Haven, CT.

many people want to go the wireless rear speaker route. the first thing to realize is that it isn't actually wireless. All speakers need power, normally they receive their power from their receiver through the speaker wire. this can cause problems as you will always see the wires run from the receiver to the speaker unless you put the wires in the walls. Now for "wireless" speakers there is still a CORD! it is just from the wireless unit to the speaker instead of across the room. the wireless systems can be problematic if they are not built into the unit itself.

I would and do avoid it.

As for Best Buy... it is a good place to buy electronics, though you will have a hard time finding someone who knows what they are talking about. I would avoid it as well.
