Hello all...

Basic setup gone bad. I used to have a this all connected, now its changed and i can't figure it out. All it is is a
DirectTV satellite box (w/ HDMI)
Panasonic TV with 2 HDMI
Receiver

I currently have 2 HDMI cables and one set of composites. So this has to be enough to work

I think i have the setup with SAT to REC and OUT to TV on REC to TV. I think that's right. Im just worried that there's something in the receiver settings to tell it what's what that i dont know how to do.

When the satellite tech was here he had it working just SAT to TV. But I want the receiver in too. HELP!!!!!

Thanks

The usual way is sat box to AVR with HDMI and AVR to TV with HDMI. The AVR processes the audio and send the video to the TV.

The other choice is sat box to TV with HDMI for video and sat box with optical or digital cox for audio.

Yea thats what i thought. Cant seem to get it to work. No audio or video. Thats why i think it might be something in the settings of the avr. I reset the whole thing and still nothing.

Its pissing me off cuz its so simple i know it
