Yes another one of those thread from a guy beginning in the HT department.

All of those are refurb from accessories4less!more!more

Prices are , including shipping for comparison

Denon : $360.00
Onkyo : $399.00
Yamaha : $300.00 (shipping is free!)

I like the fact that the Yamaha supports 4K, it would future proof it for quite a long time.

I don't really care for all the ipod/iphone stuff.

I do like that the speakers that comes with the Denon seems pretty good though.

The system will be used i would say 35% for music, 40% for video games and 25% for TV.
I'm not too sure of how the technical side of things compare..
I'm mostly looking to get the most bang for my bucks!

The Yamaha has YPAO room correction but the speakers are junk.

The Onkyo has Audyssey 2EQ room correction and networking but the speakers are poor performers. Plus Onkyo reliability has been shaky at best over the past few years.

The Denon probably has the best speakers but has no room correction or networking.

I guess you need to decide what's most important to you.
