I just hooked up a new Onkyo HT-S3300 system and have noticed the center channel distorts whenever the speaking etcetera in a movie gets loud. This is with the receiver volume at a normal level. Does anyone ave any advice

This is no matter what source/input and/or sound mode you're using?

switch the center with one of the L/R speakers and see if that one distorts too.
