Yesterday I bought Sony DWW900 and even though overall I'm happy with the system, I do not like the included speakers and I'm thinking about changing out with my Logitech Z-560 speakers that I have.

Since Z-560 only has 4 speakers.... my question is should I just replace the front left, right and center speakers with logitech and leave Sony speakers on the rear ? Or should I change out all four Sony speakers and leave Sony only as a center channel ? Or should I just leave the system as is ?

Btw, for a surround sound, quality of which speakers are the most important ? (sorry noob question).

Here is the pic of Logitech Z-560 speakers

Yeah, just change out the front 3, you need them to be matched. Use the sonys for the rear surrounds, they're not as important.

Consider that front right and front left speakers, are the most important speakers in your surround sound set up. Most of the music or sound will come from these two speakers. So yeah you can keep the sony in the back if they bother you.

I have the same Logitech Z-560, how is the Sony sub compared with the logitech one?

Z-560 produce much deeper bass compared to Sony..... Don't get me wrong, Sony produces decent bass but not heart pounding bass of Logitech.

Hmm I find that somewhat intriguing, even though I'm not surprised. I know the Logitech sub very well, and even to this date, this thing still impresses me with its punch.

As for a speaker replacement in the future, check those systems out, pretty cheap:

Yamaha NS-SP1600

JVC SXXSW6000

Sony SA-VE445H

MCNM650D

KLH HT-300AW

KLH HTA-4100

I'm kinda surprised to see KLH in your list because I always thought that KLH makes piece of crap speakers (no personal experience, just what I've heard from others)
