Reviving dead threads:p

A year ago decided to use this Durabrand receiver/subwoofer box with my PC at my work place and replaced the durabrand mids with the Denon surrounds that didn´t like (post #29) to have a 2.1 sound system, the mix turned out as a very nice surprise, the crappy Denon surrounds sounded a lot better and the tiny Sub worked like a champ (as usual:cool:), few months ago went to a Best Buy store to listen some spakers for my PC and dind´t find big difference in sound quality so I decided to keep my "Franken-speaker system" working until it breaks, I use it with low an mid volume and no problems whatsoever.

Going on 6, 7 years? I can't remember. This system has been our primary since purchase. It still works great after all these years. Best $40 bucks I have ever spent on audio equipment.

I bought these on a whim maybe 6 years ago for a spare bedroom that was 10' x 10' and for $40 they were very good. Nothing in comparison to my main HT set-up but in that small little room they really do a good job. They still are going strong.
