building a HT room and the best place for the screen is gonna be in front of 2 windoes that i will buy black out shades and curtains.....I thought an electric one would be best but wondering if there is something cheaper I can do myself?


any ideas?

Its the easiest solution....thats what I did, the screen actually blocks most of the light from the windows when down too......

I'd have to agree on this one, especially if you want anything over 100" diagonal. Any rigid, fixed screen will have issues to bear up with as far as mounting-removal-storage. You can always spray on a high performance coating that would not be available on such a Screen (Monoprice - Elite - etc.)

Check over on 'Screens' for advice on this matter. Come back if/when you want to spray onto it.
