I am looking to get a piece of Sintra, larger than the 4x8 variety in NJ. Mr. DIY himself (MM) has already given me the name of a plastic supply company about an hour from my house, but I am wondering if anyone has had any success finding Sintra (or any other PVC laminate) near central jersey. Any sign stores or craft stores?

Thank you fellow AVS'ers

The sources I gave you are likely to be the only sources to have both the size and the pricing you need.

Sign Shops and the like are not in the business of selling anything they get in for Wholesale to someone else.

It's always possible...but highly improbable.

I'd go for the known source......it's gonna save you a lot of iffy if not fruitless searching.

Not sure if you are still looking but certainly check with your local sign shop. Especially now, when outdoor sign demand is probably zero, I'm sure they would like the business.

As long as you are trying to buy it and not get it for free, I don't see why they wouldn't sell you a piece. Heck, they can even cut it for you.

Pift.. 1 hour away is nothin.

$20 in gas and how much is the Sintra? I'd consider that a steal.

Funny you bumped this thread. After a week of back and forth with a not-so-great store owner of a sign shop and $130 I finally got my 1/4" Sintra in 5x10 only to find out that the Azek sign guy in my town would have sold me a sheet that he has in stock for $70 any time i needed it. Of courrrrseeeee.
