so, been doing some calculations for the sliver Fire v2.5 3.0 and I come to about $102 .

(Color Components)


1)Liquitex Basics Matt Colors - Napthol Crimson, 75 ml

Has anyone out there been able to purchase all the materials for this at a lower cost then what I've come up with?? Sorry I didn't post the exact spot when I say online and other stuff like that.

it's roughly $80-100 dollars...depending on where you are located... and also how dark the silver fire will be.
that's because the dark you go... the more silver/pearl/gold is required to maintain gain and white levels.

with respect to the colorants... i would tend not the mix the matt basics and the basics together.

the liquitex basics colorants can be found at any hobby lobby, michaels, dick blicks, or fine art's shop.
the minwax polyacrylic satin is $5 cheaper... approx $12 dollars at menards.

a quart of rustoleum accents white pearl is $25 at menards.

Unfortunately, there isn't a Menards in the North Carolina. I have Michael's, Home Depot and Lows.

I know it's been a while since this thread was updated, but if you wouldn't mind, could you PM me with respect to Lowes as well please pb_maxx. There isn't a Menards near me either (Northern California).
