The room was sprayed black tonight, ceiling and walls. It looks awesome. Carpet is going in Saturday and screen will hopefully be sprayed next weekend.

yEOW!!!

Why didn't you spray your screen "BEFORE" you had the room sprayed...and before you lay down carpet?

Given that opportunity to avoid putting up plastic and protecting surfaces, it would seem the Equine was hitched to the wrong end of the Cart.

Oh well....Home Depot sells 9' x 12' x .3 mil Plastic sheeting for under $2.00 a sheet. Use Thumbtacks...not tape, to hang the sheeting on the broad areas of the Walls and in the Ceiling and use Tape only around the edges of the "to be painted Screen area" and under where the Trim will be overlaid....less you pull away any of that awesome Black paint.

Good point. I was just thinking the same thing. I'll probably shoot the screen next. I have unlimited access to plastic sheeting and taping the walls off for the screen will be quick and painless.

For some reason I thought the screen should be done second. As far as carpet goes I just wasn't thinking, but one problem is fixed.

This where it gets exciting! By all means call for real time help & advice if needed. Don't even hesitate a second. We both want you to nail this application to the wall. Figuratively speaking of course. wink.giftongue.gif:D:cool:

Most important is that you and yours are all safe.

Movie Night suggestion:

Fireproof.

Hi guys. I am still planning on painting my screen soon, just been busy since we had the fire. Ended up costing just over 16,000.00 for repairs, thank god for insurance. The stink of smoke is still lingering. Our carpenter should be done after next weekend, then I can finally paint smile.gif

It goes without saying, you just focus on what's most important. We'll be waiting here....no problem. And don't forget to call if you need any "Real Time" info.

I've been involved in Burn-out Restorations myself, and usually the entire area's surface is sprayed with a strong deodorizer. No matter, it's really as case where you'll get used to it before others will not notice it....even 3 months down the road. Factor in a Plug-in Deodorize for every room for at least that long.
