Hi Everyone,

Getting ready to build my own screen, 137" diagonal for my HT.

I am looking for sources on black velvet material and a source for aluminum material to build an aluminum frame.

I think I am going with the screen material from an Ebay seller by the name of, "bms2895", anyone possibly have any experience his screen material? If so would you please share your thoughts and experience with his material?

Thanks so much for your help on this. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Thank you. Golffnutt "GO DAWGS" !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here is some info to get you started: Seymour AV DIY Screen

The best (blackest) velvet is Fidelio Velvet. Seymour AV sells it.

They also recommend Syfabrics Black Plush Triple Velvet

BTW, Seymour's CenterStage XD screen fabric is excellent and reasonably priced.

Good luck!

Hey...it seems you posted about building a Fabric Screen on a Frame way back in '07 or so. What became of that?
