Just bought A Qumi Q5 and only have 500 lumen to work with and going to build a 115" curved screen this time and need maximum gain
with out a ton of image noise induced buy the gain. Was thinking of S-l-i-v-e-r thread from awhile back or is there a new mix I am not aware
of that might do the job. I really like the characteristics of the HP 2.4 screen and would like that in a paint mix.

Thanks Greg

I could not wait as I received my Qumi Q5 and went ahead and spayed my screen with the S-l-i-v-e-r paint mix and look forward to testing it out
after the screen cures. Was looking to see if any other solutions had popped up in the past year but guess not.

S-I-L-V-E-R done right is all that. Just does much poorer if. any other ambient light is competeing for attention.

It should look quite "Pop'eir "......it comes in ata minimum of 1.5 gain.

By the way, I'm sorry it seems that you received no answer to your original request for information. That usually doesn't happen so once again I apologize but I'm also tickled that you got yourself to a great solution in any case.

Thanks for the kind words. Using a Sony G70 133" curved scope screen and liking the silver. Best paint I have used for low
lumen projectors so far. Your RS1 thread inspired me!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You would laugh at my Vivitek Qumi Q5 on this screen! Insanely good for a midget 500Lumens.
I use the sony for movies and the Qumi for HDTV.

Sony G70 1280X544 96HZ crappy camera phone but tons of depth and black level and colors do pop.

How do you get rid of the crt banding on the king kong shot?
