I am going to make a screen for my HW350T projector, I am trying to figure out if I should make it 16:9 or 16:10. I have one of the newer ones where the resolution should be fixed.

The manual is misleading because they show a 16:9 scale but the measurements they give are for 16:10.

The manual is misleading because they show a 16:9 scale but the measurements they give are for 16:10.

Mount the PJ in the position you need it for the size screen you want, (....make sure your image is set to 16:9 ...this often requires you have 16:9 content playing...) and get your image as perfectly squared as you can.

Mark off the image perimeter edges + an additional 1/4" on all sides, mask and paint.

Forget 16:10. Nothing comes in that Format....it's simply a peculiarity of one having a 1280 x 800 display

That is why it has the ability to scale to 16:9
