sorry for my bad explanation, i am talking about post #5 from amazing grace thread http://www.avsforum.com/t/1303114/amazing-grace-theater-build

this is the text from that post:

Step 4:

Fourth step was to cut and wrap the MDF trim that will form the outside border. My MDF trim would overhang the support frame by .5” on each side, attempting to hide the support frame and create a floating screen. Thus, my trim is 1” wider and 1” taller than the support frame dimensions. (112”W x 66”H) 45 degree edges were cut using a basic miter box and saw. Remember to keep the sloped edge towards the inside of the frame.

i am talking about length of these..

When you Miter Cut, you must add the "Width" of the Trim x 2 to the "Inside Measurement" of the Screen's surface area. If you want 1/2" more all around....add an additional inch.

Trim is 3.25"
x 2 = 6.5"
+ 1" = 7.5"

Screen is 107" x 60"

Trim would measure 114.5" "point-to-point" Horizontally-wise
Trim would measure 67.5" "point-to-point" Vertically-wise

To quote James T. Kirk;
"I'm laughing at the superior intellect"

mdf has been cut, i did cut the sheet also, placed everything on frame to make sure all fit, looks ok so far, need to cut velvet and wrap it around mdf. it seems sheet might not be all straight lines at ends, fits on end of my marking on frame, but not on other end.

i do have all the paint material except the sprayer and squirrel mixer.
