Is it possible/ has any one attempted to paint a sheet of seamless photo paper?

the sheet is about 140" and is push pinned into the wall, while it looks ok how it is, The room has all white walls and a white ceiling. When ever there is a bright seen the images can get washed out.

if it is possible what kind of paint could be used?

You'd probably get the biggest improvement by painting the walls and ceiling a dark color.
