In about every paint thread posted it's stated that if the surface of the Sintra is pristine, and without any dark mar marks, it does not need any priming.
And nowhere is it stated that you must sand between every coat. At most, a light sweep sanding between the 3rd & 4th Dusters, and again after the 6th can assure one of the smoothest possible finish.
As far as the timing between coats, much depends upon the conditions you paint in. If the air is dry, and especially if it's heated, 30 minutes between Dusters is fine. I personally apply a "clean" raised fan to the surface (from 6' - 7') after 15 minutes to speed up the process. Dusters by their very sparse nature dry fast. Only after you reach the 5th coat should you consider waiting 45 minutes, and then ...as stated above...much depends upon the drying conditions. If the air is humid, and the Temp under 70 degrees, the it can be wise to wait 45 minutes, and absolutely beneficial to employ a Fan after 15 minutes.
I can usually paint a 122" Screen in 3 hours. Or in 4 hours under less than idea conditions. But I ALWAYS have a clean 20" Box Fan in my Tool box, and when I'm really rushed, I use a small, forced air Bullet Propane heater. But i must often do the buggers in one trip for it to be cost effective.Noted after I posted:ahajr143
