Might be worth considering, however although it is used as a Rear projection material, it has not been acclaimed suitable for AT use, at least in any critical listening sense I can recall.
Weight does not always equate to Weave, and time being an issue, direct comparisons are not likely possible.
The main hope being that Diazan is just a re-naming of 3-way Stretch 90/10 Spandex, (...so it is not as high a Blend as 80/20 - 4 way Stretch Milliskin...) and done so to segregate it from mere "Cloth" status and justify a higher price. However because it is used in Commercial Stage applications, it is more fire resistant than Spandex.
As stated above, it might be worth considering, but it will constitute a bit of a unknown factor. One thing is certain, it would constitute a big increase in the potential of larger DIY AT screens for those with 3000 Lumen Pjs and above.
Too bad is is over 2x more expensive.
