Hey All

I just got back from BB and purchased Sector 3 and I am currently listening to the CD version of Signals.. Sounds pretty good even on my PC..

I am NOT going to be able to listen to the DVD-A version till tomorrow so I thought I would give the CD's a Spin for now..

I was just wondering what you thought of Signals DVD-A??

I always loved Signals and wanted to be knocked over by the 5.1 but was kinda let down. A Farewell to Kings was out of this world. Maybe I'll give it another try.

Well I finally listened to this 5.1 Release.. not bad but I am a big fan when it is mixed like Parsons DSOTM bouncing all over..

But it seemed there was something going in the rears just not a jumpy mix..

I do think in Subdivisions they either used an alt Voice Track or maybe just the way it was remixed it for 5.1..but it definetely sounds different then the CD..

It sounds like the Voice is in front of the music and the way he sings some of the lyrics it just sounds different then the CD..If you listed to Track 2 on the 5.1 release that is the way the voice tracks mixes with the music. it on track 2 sounds mixed in and not out in front, does that make sense??

Perhaps it is just how it REALLY sounds and the Hi Rez makes it sound different then the CD or it is just the mix??
