Pink Floyd, Hendrix, Sting, Led Zeppelin, all have Apps out. Is this the future for music?

If we talk about teenagers, then yes. And they are main consumers for music industry. Market model moves in direction where copyright owner will charge end user every time he plays some tune. So I see more like a search engine for music with instant playback, where you pay few pennies if you play it for more than 30 seconds. I do not see a reason to attach yourself to a single performer via specialized app. It will be more useful to have links fro Facebook page or some other portal to a library I described above.

Just another nail in the coffin I guess. Seems like we collectors are going the way of the dinosaur; physical media is supposedly on the way out. Perhaps far into the future the cloud will deliver mch music.
