Cheapskate hardware alert. The BDP-62FD Blu-ray/SA-CD/DVD-Audio player is half off in stores only. Use the link below to determine if your local Best Buy/Magnolia has stock on hand. Further this is an HDMI only player, owners of legacy component video HDTVs and 5.1 auxiliary input receivers need not apply.
I bought a Pioneer DV-48AV DVD player back in 2008 and it has performed perfectly. If you are using multiple players like I am this combo unit may simplify things and free up an HDMI jack.
I picked up an open box for $150.00. Looks perfect!
Good for you, I hope it works out. I always love any solution that simplifies operation.
I looked at the Cherry Hill, New Jersey store and they still had one on display, if you can call ankle high a display, for $199. The sales drone was busy so I need to ask on a weekday. Cash is still tight so I would like to get one for my June birthday.
My problem is more related to the Pioneer Elite VSX-92TXH rather than the Blu-ray player itself since I don't have any lip sync issue when I have the player connected to my Integra DTR 9.9. Anyway, there is a lip sync adjustment that can be made on the 92TXH for each individual input. All I did was to adjust the delay for the input where the Blu-ray was connected.
