Wow, I can't believe the lack of buzz here about this release.
A lot of pre-release releases etc., and the buzz is excellent.
Another hi-res + 5.1 TP release has me stoked anyway.

Me too. I heard the album streaming, and it sounds like a good one. Already ordered it.

For anyone who's interested.

The official store/web site contains the following information for the Blu-ray disc release: http://store.tompetty.com/hypnotic-e...ay-bundle.html

You're right Milt, guess we've been quiet about this one for who knows what reason. I've had Mojo on blu-ray for a very long time, if this is anywhere near as good I'll be a happy camper. Picked up a copy of Quadrophenia the 2013 concert yesterday at a local dealer, paid for (they only had 1 blu-ray copy coming in) Hypnotic Eye at the same time, pick it up on Tuesday. Can't wait!

Just gave Hypnotic Eye a second listen. It has a sensible, very enjoyable 5.1 mix suitable for the music and his typical first-rate resolution. The music is edgier, IMO making it revitalizing and entertaining.
