Holy hell!!

Got the disc today (Lichtmond 1 3d) and first off it plays perfectly in my region A Oppo 93 and has a 7.1 DTS-HD-MA 96/24 track. I have only listened to the first 10 minutes at a low volume, but even in that 10 minutes there are some crazy panning effects and movement around the 7 channels. You can tell this audio track means business! Cant wait to really turn it up.

Now, what really blew me away in the first 10 minutes was the 3d which might be the best 3d I have EVER seen. Right from the opening frame, this one lets you know it means business as there are stars flying out of the screen into the room. There is more pop out in just the first 10 minutes of this disc than most discs I have seen. There is a scene with a fish that rivals the potato cod from Under the Sea. To top it off, depth is absolutely incredible. Again, this is just after watching 10 minutes. I cant wait to crank this up and watch/listen to the whole thing!

I am ordering the other 2 from Amazon.de. These are NO BRAINERS for any big 3d fan and/or multichannel music fan!

Dude, that sounds awesome and I do love that kind of eye/ear candy, especially if it's actually good. I have heard good things about these discs so I'm confident I will enjoy them. Time to order…

Thanks for the confirmation about the region coding Toe, really appreciate it!

Watched the whole thing just now and it is a wild trip! I have to say though, as good as the audio is, the real fun came when I paired my own music (I'm a big Dead/Phish fan) with the crazy visuals. I put on a nice long jam and it was fantastic with the visuals! So for me, the replay value will come with pairing my own music to these films.

That is a good idea, especially for the "drums and space" parts. Try some of the Mickey Hart world music stuff too.

I kind of figured you were a dead head by your avatar….

Gonna order these now myself!

Hey Toe,

I'm tryin to order all three from Amazon.de and it won't let me order 1 or 2, only 3. It says it can't send to my address, WTF? It says the seller is media4world and shipped by Amazon so why wouldn't my address be acceptable? Weird. Is that who yours came from? Are you in the US?

Anyway, do you or anyone else know if the ones on Grooves.land are the same and all region? I'd hate to order them and find out I can't play them. I'd prefer to order from Amazon.de since each one is $5 cheaper. I'm bummed...

Never mind, I got it to work, but dang, while researching other vendors for it, I found it through Bluray.com and they linked to Amazon.de and for some reason it worked there for all three, so with a little help with freetranslation.com, I placed the order successfully. When I google translated the page it wouldn't even let put them in my cart but I'm happy now.

Very nice! Well recorded, no noise, excellent fidelity, etc. The surround gives a nice basement jazz club sound.

I find that the more surround music I listen to, the less I like going back to plain old stereo. But the stereo track also sounds great. Just too forward, like you are listening to an album, rather than the surround track where it sounds like you are sitting in the club.

I have it. I'm a bachelor next week (wife and kids are off to Florida on Saturday for 8 days) and I'm planning to put the MCH audio gear through its paces in a few days. Will report back soon.

Can I make a request?
If you're quoting a post that has a series of large pics, please don't quote, just refer to them or quote and delete the pic.
Very simple.
We've already seen and appreciate the pics, scrolling through another 18" post of the same pics just say "I want these" is redundant.
I want them too.

I agree. Another pet peeve of mine is when someone refers to a specific title but doesn't mention the actual title in the post. I find myself going back over previous posts to find out what the title is.
