Hey Steve,

Excellent idea! I'm doing fine. I'm enjoying the XMC-1 and Dirac. It really does sound excellent especially with Dirac and multichannel music . How you doing?

America Homecoming MCH SACD. Outstanding in all regards. If only the rest of their catalogue would get similar treatment.

I might be moving to Dirac as well, Bill. Glad to hear you're enjoying it.

I was, at least about the "BTW"!

But, I get pretty frustrated try to decipher some of the acronyms that some people use.

Ya, I am also thinking about putting a MiniDSP 88A in the system and moving to Dirac...sounds like the cat's a** (meow)!

Steve and Brent,

I'm very impressed how Dirac sounds in my system. That is with just one calibration with Dirac LE that comes with the XMC-1. When I become more familiar with Dirac and if I choose to get the full Dirac Live upgrade for $99 it will only improve the SQ that much more . I should be out doing much needed yard work on this beautiful Maine morning. But I can't seem to turn off Steven Wilson's The Raven That Refused to Sing Blu-ray .

Bill, go for the full Dirac, you won't regret it.
Figure it this way, 3 used SACDs, and it will make all of your music sound better.
Besides, next month you'll just buy those 3 anyway.

Milt,

I'm sure I'll go for Dirac Live in the near future. With the good weather here I'm trying to slow down on further music purchases. The key word being "trying" .

I tracked down a second hand copy of this disc today. Do you happen to know if it's in a cardboard case (like Outlandos d'Amour) or in a hard plastic case (like Zenyatta Mondatta)?

Cheers

Thanks for your thoughts Bill. I will really look forward to the flexibility to modify target curves, save four projects on board and be able to easily switch between them...and the sonic benefits!

Cheers
