Only thing I could find for this was the 180 gram vinyl over at acousticsounds.

Would be nice to see as SACD or lossless download.

Yes I founds a couple mention on the 180 gr as well @ SHF sounds like very limited run on these! Will post my finding once it lands on my door steps, it's coming all the way from Hong Kong so it's going to be a few weeks.

Hi wse,

I agree, both 'Songs From The Big Chair' and 'Legend - 30th Anniversary Edition' are great sounding HFPA disc. I'm especially impressed with the Bob Marley disc. It's audio production and packaging is excellent. Much better than the original HFPA disc

Dan-

No Dirac yet for me, although I spent a full day at a local GTG demoing Dirac. I'm excited to try it at home.

a mate has decided to move his extensive SACD's on - change of house and circumstance. If you are looking for something rare, it probably is on sale over the next week. Look at your own peril - Audiodiscs Annonymous won't help. Hoepfl32 on ebay.

Polish eBay - http://m.ebay.pl/sch/hoepfl32/m.html...ue&_mwBanner=1

For reference, a USDollar equals 3.74 Zloty. For simplicity, divide the eBay listing price by 4 and you will be close.

Wow ... that's a lot of discs !

I don't suppose there's an easy way to find out which are in surround ?

Cheers,

SACD-Net has the answer for individual discs. The seller is into stereo, not surround (he 'hates' my surround setup, and likes it when in stereo mode) so I doubt he'll amend the listing. The surround tracks would be almost unused. ( ).

The SHM-sacds are stereo, otherwise there is a variety. About half could be surround.

Have seen some great shows there. Nice little signs on the tables that, translated from their polite verbiage, say "Shut the !^&* up and listen while the band is playing." Love that place.

If you can, try to find the original DVD-Audio (MLP) versions. To my ears, the sound quality is noticeably superior.

I have no idea why these titles were ... pardon me ... demoted to a lossy codec from a lossless one.

Greetings Jeff,

Am no fan of DD, but dts in my humble opinion is transparent...

I'm biased, a surround mix simply shines. Nothing like isolating an instrument in a single channel as point source. IMO Steely Dan set the benchmark for two channel, then...

http://dts-music.net/jazz/5-steely-d...97-dts-51.html

changed everything for me. After this demo I shortly purchased my Rotel RDA985
