I kinda wish i hadnt discovered SACD. I went a little spend happy and bought off eBay, Depeche Mode Deluxe versions of "Violator" "Music for the Masses" "Exciter" and "A Broken Frame". "Violator" was abouy $80 shipped, for a used set.

I kinda glad I discovered SACD and DVD-A when I did, when prices were more reasonable!

Tell me about it... I went through a SACD and DVD-A phase in the mid-2000s and had a rather decent collection of hard rock, heavy metal, and pop titles. Then my home theatre took a back seat and I sold off virtually of my discs.

Well, I recently completely redid my HT and am rediscovering multichannel music and am in the unenviable position of trying to buy back titles I once owned, but at higher prices now that the titles are out of print.

Sigh.

Received and listened to Spyro Gyra Original Cinema last night and just got done listening to it again. Thought it was fantastic all around!

Can anyone comment on how Original Cinema and In Modern Times compare to one another from a recording/mix standpoint? If IMT sounds as good as OC, I am going to splurge for it. Also, are these the only two Spyro Gyra multichannel discs or are there others?

Wrapped in a Dream and Good to Go-Go are, in my opinion, both excellent!

The Yellow Jackets titles are very good. Peter White "Glow" is awesome as is Flim and the BB "Tricycle."
