Latest HR or me...the Naxos Saint-Saens "Organ Symphony" BR Audio disc, and the SACD release of The Rolling Stones' "Sympathy For The Devil" remixes. King Crimson's SAILORS TALES might be next, but things may change between now and then. Especially as XTC's BLACK SEA surround edition is due.

I can manage the Doors pretty much at any time (and I appreciate the inclusion of the post-Morrison singles) but War Child does tend to take a little working up to.

Now that I have the x800, I need to give the Hawkwind Warrior At The Edge Of Time DVD another go, likewise Steven Wilson's Insurgentes now that I can access the DVD-Audio layer.

On And Off The Road is a great set. Exhausting to work through, though!

Yeah On and Off the Road is a bit intimidating....(but in a good way)

I'm a huge Hawkwind fan with just about everything they have ever put out (vinyl as well as CD...live shows too....some I've even recorded myself)....but not aware of Warrior At the Edge of Time DVD....is this a DVD-A? I do have a (Euro) Space Ritual release that has a DVD.

I'm also a Tull fan in the same way....with everything - including original vinyl and all the various Anniversary Box sets....live shows etc...don't know how many copies of various Thick as a Brick releases I have...but War Child is a bit uneven IMO...and I'm not a huge fan of all of the releases after that album...

I'm much less a Doors fanatic but I've always enjoyed their music...particularly when I'm in the mood for it.

It was a release a couple of years back, with a remaster on CD and a DVD with Wilson 5.1 and 2.0 remixes. A second CD has the Wilson stereo mix. I had to hunt around a bit for it as Amazon was out of stock. It's a Cherry Red release: https://www.cherryred.co.uk/product/...anded-edition/

Just ordered:
"XTC - Black Sea" Definitive Edition
Looking forward to this as I have all the other XTC Blu-Ray Audios. Everyone of them is very well crafted and produced, IMO.

"Gentle Giant - Three Piece Suit" Blu-Ray Audio
Have all the other Gentle Giant Blu-Ray Audio's so why not? This was reasonably priced and it's mixed by Steven Wilson.

Just got a notice today that "The Pineapple Thief - Where We Stood" Blu-Ray Audio has been shipped from Amazon UK !!
This Blu-Ray Audio should be a real winner and is a super value, IMO. For what you get, it's basically a steal compared to some of these ridiculously priced box sets that don't even have nearly as much content.
Record execs should take notice and start charging reasonable prices instead of a total money grab.

Shameless plug

I hate the fact that I'm selling these and I might change my mind at any moment, but living in the city space is definitely a commodity!
I'm being overrun by my kid's stuff, gotta make space for sacd which is growing by the days.

If I don't sell as a lot, then they'll stay!

DVD-Audio lot sale, plus bonus Dualdisc
