They are rated for 500 Watts and the ed does 250. Correct? And the ed is 4 ohms and those subs ate 2+2. Think it'll work?

Oh I didn't notice the ohm being different, hmm. Might have to rethink it. I know there are people who have powered 500 watt drivers with 250 watt amps with great success. I think I might go with Dayton 12" Reference 4ohm drivers instead. Save $50 a driver.

Damn. Those look nice. Why are thinking about changing woofers? Are you having issues with yours? What woofers do you have? I have one that looks like the woven woofer and the other looks like just a plain old school woofer. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna change the woven looking one because i think it's damaged and causing caps to blow.

There is an A2-300 currently for sale on eBay, I think the buy it now price is something like $250 (shipping is $60). It sounds like the owner has glued a couple pieces down to prevent rattling, but other than that and some scratches to the cabinet appears in reasonable shape. I have had an eD sub in my car for about 6 or 7 years now, great sub and a shame the company closed.

Edit: Shipping is now $85!! They have put to make an offer though, but no actual best offer button.

Oh I'm in NO hurry to replace the drivers on my eD's. They sound incredible and haven't given me any reason to. I'm more thinking if I ever wanted to one day. smile.gif
