yeah. the day she cooks your food and washes your clothes is the day she should have a say about AV stuff in your home unless she's ultra hot.

We bought this house together and we both own other homes. I pretty much did what I wanted in the living room Oh, she does all those other things along with letting me put a pool table in the formal dining room:

I have a fireplace with what looks like the same type of stone....different color and would like to do the same thing with a new LCD. Did you build the fireplace with a hole for the TV or cut the stone out of the existing fireplace then hang the TV?

BTW..... where is Smithfield VA?

I bought the house with the living room looking like below:

I then built the new facade (about 10" out from the original wall) with an area custom sized to the TV dimensions (3/4" gap all around) and center channel:

Smithfield is in the Hampton Roads area (Virginia Beach, Newport News, etc.)

Did you paint the square wood trim black that is in the TV opening? I'm guessing the 3/4 gap you mentioned around the TV is inside the the rough stone opening and not inside the wood trim?

I painted the MDF "box" openings (TV and center channel) a color two shades darker than the surrounding walls. The stone edges stop flush with the MDF.
You can PM me if you need anymore info or pictures....Thanks in advance.
Maybe this will help.

????

How the heck is that a WAF solution? You may not have noticed but you have a gigantic screen hanging on the wall. Seriously? The thing hiding the subwoofers looks pretty silly if you ask me. Not to mention I doubt you're getting the best response curve by corner loading and stacking them.

But hey - your room, your subs, and most importantly, your WAF.

Shouldn't the mains be moved a little bit forward so as not to be obstructed by the PB13's? Or there is only a single driver plus tweeter for that floorstander?

^^^^ Werd It's kinda hard to follow that!

Here's my setup with Dual MFW-15's. I still need to get my outlets done for CATV/CAT6 to get rid of that wire going across the floor
