I use one JL F113 in satin.

If I could predict that it would eventually become an HT-only sub, I might have gone for two lesser cost subs to go dual. I'm not such a sub nut to demand ultra linearity for HT purposes. For music, I would be more inclined. OTOH, SVS 13", MFWs, and the like didn't even exist yet.

In any case, the "smaller" size does give me more flexibility in positions if I ever did buy another one. I do not predict this happening any time soon, however. I have my eyes set on ceiling treatments and bipolar side surrounds as two of the more likely changes to come, if at all. (Bipolars for greater coverage in my multi row theater).

Very nice sub. I heard one not so long ago and I was impressed. I probably would have bought one but unfortunately the prices are ridiculous in South Africa.

Thanks. Lots of great subs out there, and it seems like more pop up everyday. I'd love to hear the new HSU 15".

I don't remember if it was the 12 or the 15. I purchased that sub a good 6 or 7 years ago.

Can we post DIY? This is my tapped horn sub. 340 liters, over 4 foot long and about 260lb. A first time DIY design and build for me.

As you might know tapped horns are unusual in that they require a driver with an fs which is twice the cutoff frequency of the horn.

BTW, that's a nice looking sub you posted up. Very serious looking driver.

I don't know if he did the RSW15 or not. But I don't think so. I know he did the Sub10 and 12.

I guess I should have said "post pictures and description only". We've got 40+ replies and only like 10 pictures

I'm still waiting for some Conquest or A7-900 pictures. These are the units that intrigue me for a next purchase.

Here's a link to the ed - its actually a ed picture on post 305 of the Epik thread
http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showt...885079&page=11

If you go to the main line of the Epik thread and click on the little paper clip you can scroll down and see all of the pictures from the thread. About 3/4 of the way down there are a few labeled as Conquest pictures in a real setting.

Epik Knight and what it can do in a 1500 cubic foot room, after Auydessy.

Never did test if the frequency response stayed the same at 105dB, but I can't test that now, as I sold my test mic.

It seems like just about everyone can and has at least one frequency response of the sub in their room. Maybe we should make this a "picture and frequency response thread. Again, this is my SubMersive1. That main dip at 20 is most likely a room issue. But it really does not seem to matter when WOTW is playing

Here is my setup: 4 x Klipsch KW-120-THX. I have them in one of my extra bedroom in my basement(11'x14') now. With the door shut it almost too much to handle going full blast. I am working on getting them into a better home.

That's quite the setup there. Sell two subs and buy room treatments with the sub money. Take away the pain so you can turn up the gain!

I used to have an open mind but my brains kept falling out.

Looks exactly like an SVS cylinder sub.

My sub(PB-10) is nothing special compared with what has been posted. However, I was able to get it to fit into my TV stand which was no simple feat! The sub has less than 1/8 of an inch of clearance on the top! That was just plain luck!
