Well if the PB16 Ultra is a long wait and the sealed subs just don't do it for me then it looks like I am ordering the PB13 Ultra tomorrow.

"If"? Has a PB16 even been announced as "in the works"? If not, yes, you likely have a LOOOOONG wait for that. Expect news "by the end of the week".

I really have my doubts whether there will ever be a PB16. Why? Because I doubt SVS would want to design a sub that is much larger than a PB13. They like to tune their ported subs deep. A PB16 tuned deep would require an enclosure that is larger and heavier than the PB13, thus limiting it's market and making shipping more difficult and expensive. Their philosphy is that if you need more than a 13Ultra, get two 13Ultras. It's actually pretty logical.

You'll love your PB13. After being around almost three years, it's still one of the best all-round subs you can buy at any price.

Look of PB16, SB13 and SB 12.

Are you assuming they didn't choose the optimum size amp the first time around?

Not at all. They have had this Bash amp for 10 years now and it might be time for a refresh or something a little more powerful. You never know...

Looks like I was right mojomike! Long live the Sledge. I know it's a very old thread but I could not help myself.

I told you, I tried not to send it. When I wrote this almost 2-years ago now someone at SVS told me they had a larger more powerful amp coming but told me I could not tell anyone. I was trying to tell everyone without telling everyone. Crazy.
