I spoke to a US rep at the NY Audio/AV Show. He said that shipment has been delayed because of problems with the casework and that they should be on their way soon. Functional development is done.

I just took delivery of a Rhythmik F12SE to add to my dual ported SVS PC12NSD
I am running a triple subs set up in a 5.1 system. The AVR is the Denon 3808 with Audyssey XT. The single LFE pre-out is connected to a AM8033c.

I have the two ported subs in front, with both subs' phase set to 0 and connected via a Y connector to the 0 phase output of the AM8033C.

I have the sealed Rhythmik at the rear left of my sofa. I am using the LFE input and set the phase to 180. This sub is connected to the 180 deg phase output of the AM8033 as recommended by AntiMode.

I read some where here, that if connected to the LFE input, this bypass the phase and cross-over in the F12SE.
Will this interfere with the AM8033C 's calibration, which recommended the phase to be set to 180?
Should I instead use the line input of the F12, which enables the phase control?
Thank you and sorry for the long post.

There is now a 8033SII and the 8033 Cinema. Anyone know th real difference between the two other than the brief table on the DSPeaker site?

Hardware: S-II has blue LEDs, dual inputs (for stereo systems without LFE out), normal and inverted output (balanced output possible), cinema has yellow LEDs, one input, one output.
Firmware: S-II has wider pass-band and correction range, more Anti-Mode filters, additional lift and lowpass-filter modes. (See the manual.)

Info I got from them -

S-II has two inputs that are actively summed (so you can connect stereo systems etc. see the connection examples), and corrects upto 250Hz. S-II also has additional lowpass filters modes. You can see the differences from the comparison chart http://www.dspeaker.com/en/products/anti-mode-8033.shtml and CinemaSII manual: http://www.dspeaker.com/fileadmin/datasheets/dspeaker/antimode8033CinemaSIIen.pdf .

S-II is not yet available, but all remaining 8033S units are programmed with the latest firmware, so they are identical to S-II, except for the LED color (yellow instead of blue)

I am contemplating getting Antimode 8033 to use with my Velo SMS-1. I am guessing it will be best of both worlds with 8033 correcting things in time domain also with SMS-1 providing more control over 8033. Has anybody used this combo?

What is your reciever? Best not to mix them, one is as good as the other and I prefer the Anti Mode 8033.

My receiver does not have EQ. I figured I can run 8033 first & use SMS-1 just to change presets & final tweaking with its manual EQ.

I have a pioneer receiver it does not eq the sub. I thought maybe I should get an antimode.
I'm not really sure which of the two antimodes to get. I would get the cinema because its cheaper but read through the post. Some of you said there is a pop sound when it turns off.
Is the SII worth it over the cinema?

The one with "pop" is 8033c, not the 8033cinema.

Thanks for the links!

It looks like the 8033S has stereo in/outs... does that mean I can use it with 2 subwoofers? I've got 2 low level sub outputs on my AVR, and am thinking about purchasing 2x Hsu ULS-15's.

You can use it with two subs but it will treat them as one summed unit. If you want independent dual sub calibration you have to upgrade to the 2.0 dual core version.
