That's what I thought - so the voltage input recommendation is really more like up to 4V with no lower limit as long as not using auto-on - got it! Thanks for the quick response.

No plastic, all aluminum. The black background is painted, though. But still it's aluminum.

How do you pop them on? Do you have any on you?

On a side note how do you wipe off what looks like a smudge on the woofer cone. I assume it happened on installation. Thanks.

Gently wipe with a brand new damp microfiber cloth. I assume its aluminum.

I think all the subs should come with transparent grills. It's nice having the best of both worlds being able to see the driver while keeping it covered at the same time.

Who knows maybe some people don't want to see the driver and would prefer the oposite

Its probably not as transparent as you think. My guess is unless the sun or a flashlight was shining into it you wouldnt see much.

Idk I could see the CONE fine with just regular lighting. Obviously when it was dark the cone was not visible

Then that would be kinda nice. You probably have a silver cone though. Mine is black. What sub do you have?

My reason for leaving the cover on is so I cannot see the "cone" lol. Now my sub is hidden behind my couch waiting on funds to stick a 2nd one back there. I cannot see the thing anyway.

So, if I'm not getting the output I'd like out of a single f12, would adding a second f12 be that much better? Or adding an e15 along with an f12?

I'm getting clipping on my f12 right at the level I want my sub. I've had to put it right behind my couch to even feel it, it sounded and felt amazing up front. However, behind my couch it actually shakes my couch which I enjoy, and I can feel the hits.

My room is 12x15x7. Mostly movies.

Does an e15 match well with an f12? Or should I just dual 12s and hope it's enough?

What about the F22? Or dual F22s vs E15s?

Correction: L22 not F22

How does the L22 compare to the f12 as far as sound is concerned.

I have both and to me they sound almost identical. Very hard to tell a difference between the F12 and L22. Of course, the L22 has more output than the F12 but in terms of SQ, they match really well. If you can live without the F12's bells and whistles then go with the L22.

Enrico, I think I distracted away from the original question regarding the E15. Does adding a sealed 15 to the F12 make sense?

Personally, I would swap the F12 for a 15… then add an additional 15.☺️
I love look of that silver aluminum driver BTW!

Hi guys, lone time no speak.... Just wanted to stop by and say I'm still loving my Subs!!

I'm tackling an issue where the Subs make my projector shake at times!! (they actually vibrate the rear wall of my Theater)

All this having been said, they are perfect for music but I could still use a little more ompf for movies... I'm keeping any eye on the ported version of my subs...

Take care everyone...

Not surprised, a pair of L22s or a pair of 15s would give you considerably more output.

And the L22s would be very cost effective.

Also, if you are after maximum tactile response in near field use my original recommendation of a pair of ported 15s still stands.

Do you have space limitations?
If he does have space limitations, then a pair of LVX12s would do nicely and have similar output to a pair of L22s down low.

A pair of LV12Rs would be cheaper but a little less extension and output. Smaller size, though.

I like the logo. If these are cast aluminum, you could have them gold plated to get a gold logo, or if you want a chrome appearance you could have them plated with nickel using an electroless plating process.
