I asked Brian already about this. Waiting for his response. I have an idea about the time we implemented this but just want to be 100% sure.

If it does not have LIMITER print on power switch, then limiter is always ON.

Are you outside the 3 year amp warranty?

Also, was it easy removing the amp to ship to them?

Rythmik's customer service is one of the main reasons I chose their products and will do so in the future.
True, when I first got my LV12R one of the threaded inserts was bad for the rubber feet to screw into. They exchanged the whole sub with a new one promptly and without any hassle. I was truly impressed by the level of customer service.

They also told me amp repairs outside of warranty would be relatively inexpensive.

Repairs outside of warranty are around $100 including both ways shipping. We send to the customer an empty amplifier box so the amp does not get damaged during transit. Replacing the amp is a very easy task. If the driver gets damaged we just ship a new driver, no need to ship the bad driver back to us.

That's good to know... I'm mainly curious about this because my LV12R is one of the first products I have bought from an internet direct company and so I'm not too familiar with the procedure for repairs/shipping.

Out of curiosity, how heavy is the LV12R amp? driver?

The only time I worry about the driver gets damage is when my little grand daughter comes over and accidentally kick it!!! I am going to have the grill on on Thanks Giving when she comes over.

I much prefer to shop on internet as long as they accept Paypal, save a lot of hauling from the store back home. They deliver front door.

One gripe I have with the Packaging from Rythmik is they double box it!!! Taking the inner box out is the hardest thing to unpack. I tried to get the sub out without separating the two boxes, the 8 flaps kept getting in the way. I had to have my wife pull the output box while I pull the inner box out. That was something. I don't want to just cut the box because I don't know whether the sub works or not.

I think one box is good enough already.

You say that now. Until you get a box like this and you thank Rythmik for the double boxes.

Open the outer box flaps, roll (gently) over whilst holding the flaps open (usually only need to worry about one) so the opening side is on the floor, lift the outer box off, then repeat for the inner box. Use a throw rug or towel to protect the floor and sub if not carpet.

No, it's not, for the vast majority of us... Shippers are often less than gentle.

Quick question. When using the FV15HP in 2 port mode, (Rumble Filter On), should Frequency be 20 or 28 and not 14 since the rumble filter adds a LPF of 20Hz if I'm not mistaken?

You should still uses 14hz extension. The rumble filter needs to be ON. We need the extension filter to do as little as possible, hence 14hz setting.

Good morning. Anyone knows where I can access Rythmik Subtuner (the Java applet). It has been down for me for a long time. I initially got responses from Rythmik that it is being fixed but still no go. Appreciate the advise.

For ported you can use DS1204 which has higher BL value in combination with A370PEQ3 amp or HX405 amp. We don't do custom models blueprints but we can for sure share with you our LVX12 blueprints.

To those of you who might be sweating either driver or amp replacement one word for you. Don't. It is very easy to accomplish and Rythmik customer support is top notch.

The only thing I would caution is that the driver is heavy and I took my time unscrewing and removing the driver to ensure I didn't slip off and scratch the finish on the cabinet and I put a towel next to where I was working just in case.

Regards,
