Eliminated some of the dips in FR with the new placement. Looks better overall I think. You got a new dip in the lower frequencies, but doesn't look like much.
Sounds better too since I don't need to boost any filters and I get nice tactile response near my feet. Seems like a more laid back sound except when there is an intense scene or sound effect in a movie or video game.

I see that the holiday pricing for that one is still in effect. Rather tempting.

You still shopping? You just got one!!!

So how do you like it so far? I am keeping mine for sure. I just need to buy the glass, it's so expensive, the one you suggested IS the cheapest by far at $300. All of a sudden, my original glass doesn't look so bad after all.

Hi Alan,

I'm not shopping, just curious about the price

I really like the F12, sounds great in my 1100cuft room, sounds smooth and it can shake things up with a good bass sound track.

Take care,

Is it normal if you place the sub in the front right corner then there will be a crazy amount of bass in the back left corner? Also the back wall center (and back right corner to a lesser extent as well)?

All is well and controlled in the MLP, BTW (which is on the right side of the room, a bit further than halfway from the front wall).

Yes. That will excite every room mode.

BTW, if you go to an indoor shooting range, avoid the corners.

This is why I avoid indoor shooting ranges like a plague. I can't take the muzzle blast.

I only tried once, and I was in the corner booth.

In Texas we have a lot of outdoors shooting ranges I usually go twice a month to the American Shooting Center at George Bush Park. Mostly to 300 yards rifle and trap & skeet ranges. Not a big fan of pistol ranges, though.

I practice fire pistol exclusively. It is what I will be using in a real world event.

Ha ha, how did you guys got into to the subject of shooting? I used to do a lot of shooting in the 80s and 90s, me and my wife went to the range every weekend. I mainly shot pistols, a little shotgun. Only have the Ruger 1022 rifle, which is a pea shooter. Really at the mercy at 100 yds. No wind, I did really well, then another day, it's all over the place when it was windy.

But living in the people's republic of kalifornia, they closed the Sharp Park range for some lame reason, I pretty much stop going since. It's getting boring after a few years shooting papers. I did turn to gun smithing, but I finally stopped for good. But still have the whole collection.

Nakamichi PA-7 amp, own designed preamp, JM LAB Spectral 913.1 speakers, Rythmik F12SE sub.
Not hooked up: Velodyne VA1210 sub, Kef Reference Series center, Kef Bookshelf speaker, Monitor Audio bookshelf speaker, Infinity rear speakers. Acurus 3X200W amp.
Coming soon: Own design power amp.

You do not want to get me started......50 years ago early teenage years, I was ready to send in , I believe it was either $50.00 or $100.00 , for a lifetime subscription to the "American rifleman", which in turn got me a lifetime membership to throw NRA....
