Just thinking about moving those around even on furniture sliders makes my back hurt... one of the reasons I can't get anything much heavier than my LV12R

(Probably a good thing for my wallet, lol)

However, I bet they will put the average actual cinema/theater to shame.

Haven't checked inside the boxes but Enrico told me that my FV18s shipped with movers blankets for hardwood floors. They should make moving around the subs a lot easier, although I don't plan on moving them very far from where I have the movers put them anyway.

No movers blankets, I said furniture mover pads. In your case you said you had carpet so I asked Lynn to put two pairs of pads for carpet so you can move the two subwoofers around at the same time

I can see in the picture you have a pair on each box so you are good to go!!!

As a side note, @JimWilson is going to officially review, test and torture the FV18. We are just waiting for the new batch of HX1000XLR3 amps to arrive (around two weeks) to send him a unit for review.

The movers will have blankets, just make sure they use them. i think wires were crossed with Enrico but shouldn't be a problem.

Oh dear, you misunderstood, Enrico. Here is your response to what I said in an earlier email to you:

I don't know why I was thinking on carpet, but just checked iMessage and I asked for hardwood floor, not carpet

That should be a exciting read. Perhaps you could send him the FVX15 or LVX12 too?

Would be nice for a better review than the Youtube one of FVX15...

I thought the FVX15 YouTube review was entertaining. Not super informative, but entertaining lol.

I wish the L12 or L22 were available with the A370 or H600 amp designs. I don't want the class-D amp, but need the compact size.

@enricoclaudio and @Rythmik -- I just bragged on you guys and Rythmik Audio in the JTR thread. There is so much cross polination in these subwoofer threads, everybody who posts to them seems to know that I bought a pair of FV18s. But then I know who everybody is who bought JTR subs too so it seems to be an egalitarian thing.

Enrico -- The FV18s are so heavy, I have hired a moving company to move them inside from my garage, unbox them, and set them in their approximate final positions. The movers are coming tomorrow at 11:00 AM. After that, I will need to wait until my son in law can come over, move my component stand and connect the second sub to my receiver. Only after all of that gets done can I get down to the serious work of configuring the subs. I have a UMIK-1 and REW installed on my Macbook Pro so I'm going to try to do a careful job of EQing them. Will report further when I am in the process.
