I am testing the above mentioned sub, on loan from the agents. This is a dual 12" opposing throw driver configuration. I have a question regarding its positioning and orientation in relation to the wall. Would it be better to fire the driver into the room into the longer dimension and have the other firing into the rear wall, or would it be better to have it firing sideways into the room width. As it is im testing it now about 5 feet off the back wall firing into the room length as i have a false material wall at the front where the projection screen hangs. The room size is 23x 13 feet in size.

What would be the theoretical or even pratical benefits of either orientation? Ultimately i will play around and see which works better, but maybe some practical considerations from someones personal experience will be invaluable in terms of getting the best out of this sub.
