I've added a second sub a week ago or so and have been going through some past purchases to check out the bass. I'm a big blu-ray concert collector and I found a bass tune on Jeff Beck's Live At Ronnie Scott's that really comes alive with my new stuff. The song is Stratus with Tal Wilkenfeld on bass, Vinnie Colaiuta on drums, don't know if it's been mentioned on here before but I found it impressive.

I know it's spinning up the top 40 list, but I only heard it for the first time a week ago or so and really liked it. It's got a nice bass line and is a cool tune! If you haven't heard it yet - check it out.

This dummy made another tune, and, as with his usual lack of professionalism, didn't bother with a subsonic filter so now the bass line has all kinds of sub 20 Hz stuff in it. Good going, creep.

For some real tunes, here is that badass theme for the Plague from Hobo With a Shotgun:

Saw this track on Reddit and really like what these two guys are doing, wound up buying both on iTunes:

The one guy's cover of Royals is pretty badass too, not much sub tho:

I was browsing through my library tonight looking for some tracks for a GTG I'll be attending in January and stumbled across The Social Network soundtrack.

Seems like the entire soundtrack is full of absurd bass

These tracks specifically:

Carbon Prevails
Eventually We Find Our Way
Magnetic

Both of Tyga's albums have great bass, the second one seems to have been recorded a lot hotter than the first!

Not exactly family-friendly lyrics, though... lol

Last week I bought this album based on this post, and "Carbon Prevails" is one of my new favorites. Hits so hard it blurs your vision.

This song contains a lot of information below 20hz. Not all subwoofers with authority can play a song and it is possible that some may even damage the subwoofer.

Nero:  Must Be The Feeling(Flux Pavilion and Nero Remix)

First bass line comes in at :27 seconds....don't bee fooled into thinking this is the real deal.....It comes in again at 1:22 with vision blurring bass.  That's what I like about this particular song...you are fooled into thinking..wow, this is ridiculous..then the real bass kicks in.

Even with my ultra wimpy PSW110 its very impressive.

Agreed! Also, "White Teeth Teens" on her Pure Heroine LP is even more impressive! Love to know how low that is, but it pressurizes my room like few others - my SubM HP loves this whole album by Lorde.

Still working my way through the rest of the list. I can find some good electronic music but now I need to find some good acoustic metal / prog rock.

Just found this on the top 40 on iTunes…

"Turn Down For What"

Loud ear ringing bass line throughout. My JTR S1's impaired my hearing on this...

But, how do you get vision blurring bass with the PSW110?

I did a review on this sub. It's good for the money! -- but man, the rabbit hole goes SOOOOOOO much deeper! Keep following the trail!
